 NICKI loves to do benefit classes for worthwhile causes, and we’re more than happy to cooperate. This summer we’re doing a VERY SPECIAL CLASS to benefit the Nurses Education Fund at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. 100% of the class registrations, after deducting only for whatever food costs we are unable to get donated, will go to the fund. Kitchen Affairs and NICKI are donating our time and efforts for this worthy cause.
The class will be on Wednesday, August 25, at 6:30 p.m. and it’s a STUFFED PORK LOIN MENU ($50). Our first course is a Baked Brie with Fresh Peach Amaretto Topping, followed by a Pork Loin Stuffed with Apples and Sweet Potatoes, accompanied by Roasted Zucchini and Squash. Dessert will be Pecan Pie with Bourbon Whipped Cream. Now how can you pass this menu up? Especially when you know you’re helping to provide funds for Nurses’ Education. Our benefit classes usually sell out, so do sign up soon, or you will miss out.

NICKI LEATHEM is another member of our store staff and of our teaching staff as well. Her experience in Pastry Arts at Sullivan College and her extensive catering experience make her a welcome addition, and she has very quickly developed a devoted student following. On this schedule NICKI has two classes; one looks delicious, and the other is a VERY SPECIAL CLASS.
