"Rubs, Glazes & Salsas"

PorkOn Saturday, August 21 at 9:30 a.m. JONATHAN will teach us RUBS, GLAZES & SALSAS ($52). This class is all about the grill, but not about the meat. It’s about the seasonings and the  ways to enhance grilled foods. He’ll be working with fish, poultry and meat, and will rub, marinate, glaze and garnish (salsas) until you’re stuffed! The whole idea here is to take the same basic foods and use the same basic cooking technique, but still come up with a different tasting result that’s delicious. This class sold out in April. It will again. It’s that good!

JONATHAN SACKETT grew up in our store, literally. He was 13 when we opened the store and has loved working retail ever since. Although he works in a different industry on his “day job,” JONATHAN has been teaching cooking classes for years in Indianapolis and St. Louis. Several years ago, he began teaching here and our students have welcomed his classes. On this schedule, he will repeat a class which has always sold out.
