On Tuesday, August 17 at 6:30 p.m. SCOTT is offering a fabulous menu class featuring FILET OF BEEF AU POIVRE ($55). This is no “light” menu at all, as we begin with a first course of Pepper Encrusted Sea Scallop with Deep-Fried Cilantro and Cucumber Sauce. Our Peppered Steak will be served with the very traditional Pommes Frites (fried potatoes) and a Vegetable Butterfly of squashes and mushrooms. Dessert for this one is a creamy sweet-tart Lemon Crème Brûlée.
You won’t want to miss either of these classes, and as a teacher, SCOTT keeps getting better each time he’s here.

SCOTT SCHYMIK, the chef and owner of Kirby’s Private Dining and Catering in Evansville, really enjoys teaching in our school. His classes are very well organized, and usually run shorter than some others, but the techniques are always very do-able and SCOTT’s food is delectable. SCOTT has two classes this summer and both look like winners.
