Our own version of the TV show, Chopped
, we're pitting two of our favorite local chefs against each other and the clock. They will each be given two baskets full of unknown ingredients, one for an entree, the other a dessert! You will be the judge, tasting, grading and awarding the title of Top Chef of The Cook's Shop! This will be the fourth time we've held this class/event - it seems to be more fun each time! You're encouraged to heckle, ask questions, make suggestions, post to Facebook, take pictures, tweet, text and email throughout the evening. This will be a lot of fun for all involved. Class is limited to 16, sign up early to guarantee your seat!

SUSHI - HANDS ON!
Monday, February 6, 2017 - 6:30 pm, $50

This is our most popular class, hands down, so call quickly if you want a seat! You'll learn to cook the perfect rice, select the proper ingredients (Dave will cover both seafood and vegetable sushi) and roll your own sushi. If you're lucky, Dave will make up a few rolls of Hot Dog Sushi too! Each participant will take home their own bamboo sushi mat. Class is limited to 14.

Just in time to tantalize your Valentine with gifts from the heart! Ellen will teach how to make some very traditional chocolates (as mentioned in the class title) for that someone special in your life! Class is limited to 16.
HEARTY SOUPS Saturday , February 25, 2017 - 2:00 pm, $45 Dagmar Kupsche - The Cook's Shop Dagmar will teach you how to make Lasagna Soup, Pasta e Fagioli, Chicken Pot Pie Soup, and Beer Cheese Soup with Kielbasa. These are delicious soups that warm up the soul on cold winter days! Class is limited to 16.

EAST INDIAN CUISINE
