It was once called The Center Street Restaurant and Anne Parish was part owner and pastry chef there. Their dessert were wonderful and long remembered by the patrons. Tuesday, July 9 and July 16, 2013 - 6:30pm CAKE DECORATING
Come and learn how to decorate a beautiful and delicious cake. Stephanie Bolan will be here to teach some of the basic techniques that will help you to decorate any cake. She will teach how to use a pastry bag and tips, and work with different fondants. This two part, hands-on, summer class can be enjoyed all year as you decorate birthday and other special occasion cakes. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 - 1:00pm HANDS-ON WHEAT BREAD Come learn from our in-store instructor how to make delicious wheat bread using freshly ground wheat flour. Patty Taylor will also demonstrate how to make our cinnamon/currant variation. Price includes pan and one loaf of bread to take home. Thursday, July 11, 2013 - 6:30pm CREPES WITH THE CREPERY There is a great little restaurant in town called The Crepery. They make yummy main dish crepes and the most wonderful dessert crepes. Gabe Anderson, owner and chef, will be coming to teach us some of his tips and tricks of making the best crepes in town. Don't miss this fun class. Our Kids Camp will be a skill driven, hands-on experience geared towards teaching your child basic culinary skills. Not only are we focusing on skills used in the kitchen everyday, but also on nutrition and good eating habits. JaDene Denniston, our resident chef, will teach your child to understand the importance of eating fresh, healthy foods while they are young and making good food choices.
