Class Name: INCREDIBLE VEGETARIAN
Instructor/Chef Name: Chef Rodney
Not sure what is going on with our favorite carnivore, Chef Rodney, but he has put together an incredible menu of Vegetarian and Vegan food even a meat lover like Rodney can enjoy! Start the evening out with Nose Dive Bruschetta, an Edamame Spread with Artichokes, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, Confit of Garlic and Fresh Mozzarella. The next dish will set you up for a side or entrée; Vegetable Pho- Fresh Vegetables, Rice Noodles, Cilantro, Basil, and Lemongrass-Chili Broth. The last dish of the night will be the Nose Dive Vegetable Burger- Handmade with Mushrooms and Asian Flavors, Ginger Red Pepper Aioli. You won't even miss the beef on this one. Chef Brady is back in an all fish class tonight. He will start you out with a first course of Champagne Shrimp Scampi topped with bitter greens dressed in lemon juice and black truffle oil. The second course is a Crispy Tilapia with a Spicy Thai Cream over Purple Basil Risotto and served with Salted Pan Fried Asparagus. How about a little Amuse-bouche? Raw Oysters with Champagne Ice and Shallots will surly fit the bill. Finish the night off with a classic spring time dessert of Bread Pudding with a Rum Raisin Sauce. We'd fallen for the convenience of buying just boneless chicken breasts when we came across this book. Through it, we were reintroduced to rich, delicious flavors long forgotten. We reached for our roasting pan and turned on the oven. To our delight, the results were better than expected, and roasted chicken dishes are now back on our menu. In this cookbook, we found complete instructions for how to roast a good bird and many variations for unique flavors. A Bird in the Oven provides "20 Ways to Roast the Perfect Chicken plus 80 Delectable Recipes" to accompany the flavorful roasted bird. The choices include vegetable sides in some unique variations, a chapter on Roast Chicken Salads, another on Roast Chicken Soups, a section on chicken with Pasta and Rice Dishes, and a finale chapter covering Brunch and Lunch. The full-color photography is stunning and inspirational throughout the entire book.
