Thursday, December 1st ● Hannah Decker - Pastry Chef ● "An Afternoon Tea" ● $45.00 ● 6:30 - 9:00 pm ● Demonstration Class Teas are a tradition that had lost their popularity until recently. Now tea parties have been revived and are a lovely way to spend time with friends. Hannah will show how to host a wonderful tea party. SOLD OUT! Sunday, December 4th Cathy Webb - Cathy's Designer Cookies ● "Christmas Time Is Here"● $50.00 ● 1:30 - 4:00 pm ● Hands On Class! We offered this class during the summer as "Christmas in July" for those students that wanted to get a jump start on Christmas. Now the season is here, so please join us and learn to make cookies too beautiful to eat! Some of the things you will learn in class are how to roll out and bake perfectly shaped cookies, several different cookie decorating techniques, including the use of royal icing, outlining and flooding cookies and the sanding technique. She will also share her recipes for Traditional Sugar Cookies & Royal Icing. Visit Cathy's website and you can see some of her cookies: www.cathysdesignercookies.com. Don't wait and be disappointed; this class will sell out quickly! This is Learn to make a Giant Santa Claus with His Pack cookie. Students will learn to use Royal Icing to create "perfect little treasures" for holiday gift giving. The class will also make a Fancy Snowflake cookie, a Snow-Covered Sleigh cookie and an Adorable Snowman cookie.Only

Tuesday, December 6th ● John Plymale - Porcini ● "Elegant Holiday Desserts" ● $45.00 ● 11:30 - 2:00 pm ● Demonstration Class What would the holidays be without decadent desserts? It is the one time of the year that you throw caution to the wind and enjoy all the holidays have to offer! Menu: Chocolate Espresso Holiday Trifle ● Eggnog Cheesecake ● Old Fashioned Jam Cake with Caramel Icing ● Gingerbread Cake with Bourbon Whipped Cream & Warm Butterscotch Sauce  

 

Tuesday, December 6th ● Gail Crawford - Jefferson Community & Technical College ● "Authentic Spanish Tapas Party" ● $45.00 ● 6:30 - 9:00 pm ● Demonstration Class Tapas translate to small dishes and what a great way to entertain. Start by learning to make an authentic Mojito Cocktail. Enjoy while you learn to make Ensaladas (salad with Marcona almonds and Manchego cheese), Champinones al Ajillo (mushrooms in garlic sauce), Tortilla a la Espanola (potato and onion omelet), Espinacs a la Catalna (Catalan spinach), Empanadas (meat and vegetable turnovers), Gambas Ajillo (spicy garlic shrimp) and Mejilones al Gail (mussels in Gail's special sauce). For dessert, a Flan (baked custard with melted caramel sauce).

Saturday, December 10th"Breakfast with Santa" ● $35.00 ● 10:30 - 11:30 am Santa is coming to town and wants to have breakfast with you and your family! Bring your Christmas list and camera, tell Santa what you want for Christmas and have your picture taken! Have breakfast at our "top your own homemade waffle bar" and enjoy sausage links, hash browns, milk, juice and hot coffee! Each reservation includes two children and one adult or two adults and one child. For each additional child or adult, please add $5.00 to the price of the breakfast.

 
Saturday, December 10th ● Christina Faust - Cooking at the Cottage ● "Salt Dough Ornaments for Kids" ● $35.00 ● 1:30 - 3:00 pm ● Hands On Class! ● Ages 5 - 12 yrs old Learn to make and decorate ornaments for your Christmas tree or to give as gifts. Christina will show you how to make the dough, create different shapes, decorate and preserve your ornaments. This will be lots of fun!

Have you ever wished you knew how to make, assemble, decorate and preserve the charming gingerbread houses you see in the magazines and on TV? Learn how as we go through the process, step by step, to create and decorate a masterpiece! Each student or family will make their own, large house to take home with them! Don't miss out! Seats are limited due to the nature of this class - make this a holiday tradition! Class is priced to make one house; this would apply to an individual, couple or family of four or less.
