We want to extend the warmest of invitations to our Christmas Open House! It's become a bit of a tradition here--our way of saying, "THANK YOU" to our customers; We did something a little different last year, and, quite honestly, customers and staff alike said --"Let's do it the way we used to!" At ACORN FARM, we've been shown a good measure of grace and love from both our customers and from above. This time of year, we want to join with our customers to show hospitality and charity to our neighbors, right here at home, across the country, and even around the world. In that light, we've chosen some special gift items that do just that. As you enjoy shopping during the OPEN HOUSE and throughout the holiday season, take a moment to look for the items next to the signs bearing an angel. A portion of the proceeds from each of these products goes to a special charitable cause! Every angel sign will tell a little bit about the charity associated with each item. We also have chosen an angel ornament -- with an Acorn motif, of course! -- and 100% of the profits from its purchase will go to WELLSPRING - a youth development organization close to home  - in northwest Detroit, providing education, job-training, and help with life-skills for kids in the city! It's especially close to Kathy's heart because it was started by her brother and his wife over 30 years ago.
